Definitely a very good vietnamese place to go eat. I haven’t eaten any grill meat rice dish in over a year but this place makes very good rice dish here. Started eating it again now!! Very authentic and positive service! Thank you
This restaurant is classic. It’s been around forever, has fast service , and their food is all around excellent! The location is not ideal but if you want authentic Pho, you’ve gotta travel to the more unfavourable areas of Calgary. It’s well worth the journey.
I’ve been going to Pho Rang Dong since I was young and still love the way their pho tastes. The only disappointing thing is that they give less noodles and meat compared to other pho restaurants who sell their pho at the same prices. In regards to taste, this is definitely the place to go, but in terms of value for your dollar I’m not so sure.

The food at this place is not the cleanest . I went to this place a few times. Every time, I went to eat at this place. I would order water with my meal. And the cups, chopsticks, forks, sauce plates and everything else is not completely clean. I found a mysterious floating piece of food in my water three times before. And pieces of stuck food on the utensils too. The food is alright but the prices for the food isn’t super reasonable. It’s not expensive but I believe that you can find better, cheaper, and cleaner Vietnamese food. Yeah, I wouldn’t recommend. Cleanliness is not a hit, trust me.
Decent. Food there is just okay. The pho is not really clean. I can see the fats floating on the soup. So i could tell they did not filter their pho after cooking it. But the pho is good for the price. The rice is not very tasty. The rice was not cooked perfectly. So when i eat the #30, it doesn’t bring an appetizing taste. But it is good for the price. I would come back if i have not much money in my wallet.
Hands down best meat and spring rolls in the city by a large margin. The soup is above average. Pricing is fair. Menu is not very big but the quality is there. Very modest dining area. Staff is nice but the English is weak. Ive been going here consistently for well over a decade. Highly recommended. Best meal #22 or #23.
