Only been here once, but will definitely be back. Service was amazing! Very attentive and friendly. I had the fried plantain to start and they were tasty. Curry Goat for the main and it didn’t disappoint. Very tender and curry sauce was great. It came with fried dumplings and simple salad (will swap with rice next time). My friend had the Barbie Fry Chicken which I tried and was delicious and will definitely have next time I dine there.
They take care of you. Came in thinking just another jamican place. There’s a little soul in the food though! Give a try! Good portions, and more than just a takeout stand.
The food does not disappoint – tastes like it is straight out of a Jamaican shack – my only complaint is it’s hard to find a menu online and they run out of certain foods fast
First time trying Caribbean food and thoroughly enjoyed it. Krazy Jerk is a friendly, tasty, little hole in the wall. The service was great, even though the menu was not really the menu (don’t ask). Anyways, the oxtail was fall off the bone and delicious and the jerk chicken was spicy and tender. I also liked the coleslaw type salad, this bun ball thing, and the rice and beans were tasty Only issue is the price seemed a bit steep… $40 for 2 dishes and 2 Jamaican sodas.
Seemed high priced, confusing menu, not a great atmosphere. But the chicken dishes were really awesome. I’ve been craving the homemade bbq sauce and jerk chicken ever since. The owners are also super nice.
A taste of the caribbean food!. Oh my gosh!! i went to krazy jerk today and i had beef soup and oxtail, my oh my wasnt that delicious oh yes it was. great customer service and delicious food, krazy jerk will definately see me again. keep doing the good work
Barbi fry to da flippin world!!!!. Krazy jerk is the best caribbean resturant in calgary, food shaat!! especially the barbi fry is so good. overall the service is amazing friendly people always make you feel welcome and warm atmosphere. real jamaican food, real jamaican vibe. all nations come in to dine or take out, people coming from all over i realize just to have a taste of this food…my friends and i love coming to krazy jerk!! thumbs up guys keep up the good work!!
