There is so much great Pho in this town, but I was reminded why I keep coming back to this little restaurant on 17th S.E. I ordered Pho with beef and brisket. The portioning was perfect, the broth – delicious – and the beef was properly rare and cooked in the broth. The brisket was shaved razor thin complete with fat – this was especially delicious. The typical accompaniment of spring rolls and bean sprouts were very fresh. The tea was delicious and there is Shaw Go Wifi which go hand-in-and perfectly for writing reviews like this. Staff is quiet, polite, and friendly. I’ll keep coming back, for sure.
This place has the best satay broth in the city. It’s very peanuty (with little crushed peanut bits in the bottom) and savoury, so delicious! We drive all the way from the deep south to come here for the satay pho. Order #15 with satay broth, you won’t be disappointed. They serve pandan jasmine tea which I’ve never had anywhere else. It’s very refreshing. Spring rolls have some taro in it which gives it an interesting but very good flavour. Vermicelli bowls are tasty as well. But definitely ask for satay broth if you like savoury, spicy pho!
This place served me pho with meat that was turning bad, (had deep blue/green lines, with a colorful shiny metallic rainbow color at the surface). It’s hard to describe.I also happened to get sick on two different occasions eating here.I use to buy from here most often. However, the quality and safety of the food here has made me lose any and all desire to come near it.The server also got my order wrong on another occasion, and then tried to argue with me about it. When her boss (I assume) asked her what the fuss was about. She proceeded to talk ill of me in Vietnamese, not realizing I understand the language. Never again.
Food is pretty average, service is okay. I don’t always come here but I don’t mind it. Only been here a few times. Wish there was a little more flavour in the broth though.
Below average. I order beef ball and beef vermicelli in small size. There are 3 thin slices of thin beef and few pieces of beef ball. Taste is ok. I give 60% to this place and never go back.
I’ve been coming to this place for years and it’s gone so downhill it makes me want to punch the waiters there. Waiters can’t even understand simple English and the service is absolute crap now. I’ll never go there, after 5 years I’ve been going there. Piece of crap restaurant. I hate this place now.
Best pho on 17ave!. I really love the broth of the pho. Really tasty. Noodles are really good too. The place was really clean. I recommend it to anyone. But i don’t really have anything to complain about. I remember eating here when i was young and it is still good today.
