Not really a family friendly restaurant. No childrens menu . We asked if we could have half sized portions to decrease cost and waste less food, they said no they couldnt accommodate; their solution make the kids share. Food didnt taste good. Although Portion sizes were good and the restaurant was clean. I would not bother going here unless you want to spend $6 for 1 pancake .
Well what can I say about this restaurant. The food was authentic cuisine, not your typical western Canadian Chinese food with the red sweet and sour slurry poured over heavily bread mystery meat. After our order was placed, the food arrived hot, obviously fresh made and delicious. If you want to try authentic Chinese or Vietnamese food this is your place. Tip- ask about the shrimp dumpling soup, it’s not on the menu but it’s excellent.Time for another review. After a few more meals at this restaurant all I can say now is that the food is generally good but unfortunately inconsistent which was quite evident if you order the same meal a few times.
I found the service very good and the food familiar and competently prepared. Nothing exciting, but the kind of Chinese you expect in southern Alberta. Next time I’ll try thenVietnamese side of the menu which looked better.
