Fresh – flavourful – fabulous. We have only been coming to the Silver Grill for about a year. I think we have returned at least 6-7 times so that must tell the story. We have never had any bad experiences with any of the Chinese dishes and the food is always hot and fresh. The service and atmosphere is excellent. We live 45 minutes from town and make the trip specifically for the food. As long as the consistency remains we will continue the journey. Thanks
Fresh, Delicious. Happy Customers.. Drove to Fort Macleod from Lethbridge for a concert and stopped a the Silver Grill. Busy night there with only one wait staff. The waiter did an amazing job! The food was excellent. The stir fried vegetables were fresh and cooked perfectly, deep fried shrimp was also delicious. Chicken fried rice was excellent. I would definitely stop there again.
Decided to drive to Fort Macleod to try this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised, actually the food was great, the service was excellent the only complaint was the dishes were a little on the small side when compared to other restaurants.

Ew. Sometimes a dive has good food and friendly people, but we weren’t so lucky at the Silver Grill. My burger tasted really good until halfway through, when I bit down on a 3-inch long gristly piece of I-don’t-want-to-know-what. The sweetly condescending server mused that perhaps it was a vein. He also pointed out that I had made it through 80 percent of the burger (we had a show to see at the Empress, so rather than reorder, I finished off the bun). I asked the server to knock a few bucks of the price of the entre. I was granted a discount of two dollars. I did not appreciate the disgusting surprise, and the assumption that I was out to save a few measly bucks on a meal at a crappy little greasy spoon. If you want a burger in Fort Macleod, go to the A & W.

Western Chinese Food. I spend a lot of time working out of town in small towns like Fort MacLeod, and so my reviews are really based on what’s available around town, rather than compared to my dining experiences throughout my life.Silver Grill does do Westernized Chinese food, so there really isn’t that many authentic Chinese food dishes. But as far as Westernized goes, I thought the dishes were very good. In comparison to other local Chinese food restaurants, Silver Grill is definitely a lot better than others. For slightly more authentic dishes, try the hotpots, the mussels, and the curry shrimp, though they won’t make the curry shrimp hot which is a bit dissapointing.So, if you’re stuck in Fort MacLeod and craving some sort of Asian food, check out the Silver Grill
