Gloria’s makes fantastic homemade soups and sandwiches from scratch. Arriving at the restaurant shortly before noon, we were greeted by a line-up to the door. Don’t let that scare you. The line moves quickly and, as locals will tell you the food is worth the wait. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. I went with the Turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread. I was pleasantly surprised by the heaping pile of turkey they put on your sandwich. I was able to customize it the way I like with all the veggies. They have a variety of different sauces to choose from. The homemade soup was bursting with flavour. Needless to say, I was stuffed afterward.
