The servers looked like they didn’t want to be there. The food was tasteless and the sushi rice was hard. I had to drink water just to choke the rice down. Hands down worst sushi I’ve had ever.
The service of the restaurant is good and the staff are friendly. The all you can eat at lunch is at a rather cheap price for one person and worth it. There is an iPad ordering system which is interesting and efficient. The place is spacious and looks alright inside. The desserts served there are good and there is more than one flavour of ice cream. The ice cream flavours include chocolate ice cream, green tea ice cream, mango ice cream, vanilla ice cream and strawberry ice cream. The dessert is self serve, but there are mini slices of cake and mango pudding to enjoy. The food is quite good and the staff are able to take care of your needs.
Ridiculous….never coming back. Huge piece of rice and this paper thin sushi. The money you spend is better spent elsewhere. Don’t veer come here. For all you can eat, go to the one on macleod or 16th. Don’t ever come here
This location is much nicer than the McLeod location; bright, clean and trendy. Service was friendly and speedy. It’s not bad for what it is, an all you can eat sushi joint. The rolls are nothing spectacular, just the average kind. The Korean bbq beef ribs were overcooked and tough to eat. The tempura was good. The sushi itself and cone rolls were delicious!
Would not recommend going here. Stopped in twice, I won’t ever be going back. The first time, the entire restaurant was booked out for a children’s birthday party, there were children running around unattended and screaming, and for some reason a microphone setup that blared awful feedback noise throughout the whole restaurant when they were announcing things about the birthday and singing karaoke nonstop, I couldn’t hear the server or have a conversation with my friend. Second time, normal operations, but not a lot of people during normal dinner hours, which I should have taken as a hint. Interior is spacious, but both times, customer service was awful and food was questionable at best, I agree with the other reviewers regarding the temperature, portions, and discrepancy between pictures and served food. This prime location next to the T&T supermarket would be better off as something else.
The quality of food and the customer service is horrible. Order sushi that was unusually warm and hot items were served cold. We tried to make the best of the situation but the servers just dampened our experience with them chatting to each other and not assisting us. The location on MacLeod is 10x better.
Slow service, and meager portions. After half an hour of waiting, there was a discussion of perhaps paying for what had come (dessert came first ..) and leaving to go to the food court instead. Wasabi was very mellow. The partner ordered a handroll that was more seaweed than anything else. Mango pudding was small and didn’t come with the usual condensed milk (as pictured). There was a dime amount of pork in the BBQ pork buns. There were no prices on the iPad menu, which is frustrating. The food served 100% does NOT match the photos! Won’t be here again, but our usual haunt was closed!
