The atmosphere was quite nice; however our table at the corner booth had a bright light as part of the fan unit and should be replaced with a less bright bulb. We were taken to our table upon arrival at 6pm. The woman server was friendly and asked for drink orders and delivered same in short order. I must say the types of beer available was more than I’ve seen at any other restaurant. The 4 of us placed our food orders and enjoyed our drinks. The starters were delivered in about 10 minutes. 3 had the borscht which was fine and I had the escargot which was quite nice. The mains arrived 10 minutes later. 2 had the special of the day Goulash with spaezle. One had the pork schnitzel and I had the pork chop. The goulash had plenty of tomatoes with not many pieces of beef. The spaezle was also very little. At $30.00 per plate a person would expect a bit more beef! The schnitzel was tasty with the mushroom sauce but dry. My pork chop sauce was flavorful and I enjoyed the kopytka. The chop was quite dry and over cooked. We did not have desert. It seemed our server abandoned us as we waited a while for the cheque to be brought to the table. We do not mind paying a high price for a good food experience; however this experience was best summed up as ordinary.

For dinner got the chicken schnitzel and my bf got the chicken stroganoff both were very large portion sizes filling cooked well. The food is very authentic European and home made feeling loved it will be back one day.
