Nice restaurant with delicious foods!. The food is pretty good. I’m a vegetarian and once time, I came there, I was really surprised because their veggie menu.( because they serve breakfast). It had many kinds of veggie foods that I wanted to try. Barely, I chose the Buddha pho! There is lots of vegetables( carrots,mushrooms,brussel sprouts, tofu, onion,..). It was also amazing with spicy and sour soup. So delicious…One more thing,They have good staffs who always be friendly and kind. Friends and neighbors is made me happy every single time I been there.
I LOVE this place. They have the best breakfast food ever, especially the French Toast. I had been waiting all week for it. Big portions, great staff and it’s always a busy place. My favorite.
Upon entering the diner I was pleasently delighted with the atmosphere. I was given the option of a booth or a table for two with my girlfriend next to the door. Upon choosing the booth, we were asked to move to the table because more people came in despite being given the option. The same waitress handed us out menus, because despite asking us to move, se couldn’t even accommodate is to our table. As if this wasn’t enough, the party that had robbed me of my good breakfast experience was served beforehand and my girlfriend did not receive what she ordered.
Food was alright. Had beef pho. Service was very slow. Waited almost an hour for our food. The waitress forgot to ring in our veggie dumplings, even after we reminded her. They never once checked on the table after taking our order to see if everything was still ok. If you want some ok food, and want to wait an hour, go here. Very disappointing.
Update Hours. I really enjoy Friends & Neighbours cafe but I was disappointed to see the hours posted online were 8 AM to 9 PM but when I came this morning with my 2 girlfriend at 930 it was closed. Opened at 11. I don’t mind that it’s open at 11 but it’s frustrating that information out there is wrong.
After a day of labour, go to Friends and Neighbors. Huge selection of food as it shares a kitchen with the breakfast place next door (you can ask for the menu for next door). The pho is what I usually get. Everything I tried seem to be solid and reliable. Lots of good experiences here
Not too shabby. Friendly staff. Good portions of yummy breakfast grub. Decor is dated.
