The place is cosy and comfortable. The lady working at the counter knew all the products very well and answered patiently our questions. We ordered 4 milk foam winter melon drinks, a strawberry yogurt Belgian waffle, a blueberry cream Belgian waffle and 2 original egg waffles, and all were very delicious. We also enjoyed the music very much.
I ordered a milk foam panda tea and a chocolate egg waffle, all are very delicious. Service was quick. The quality of cup and lid are super. The environment is spotless and modern and staff is friendly. They are presentable and knowledgeable in terms of their menu. Overall, I had a positive experience, and would definitely come back again.
I went here with my friend. The place is very relaxing and good to chill out. The guy at the counter was very friendly and even suggested drinks since it was our first time here. We ordered the earl grey milk tea with coconut jelly and milk foam Black Forest. Both the drinks were very delicious and refreshing. A must go!
The BBT chains are popping up like crazy. Gong Chas already opened up their second location; this one just off of Whyte Ave where its nestled around the corner from Nongbu and Meiningful Fusion Restaurant. I think this means you can get a butterfly coloured drink. *cough cough* for all the…
Pretty tasty bubble tea, but not as good as Taiwan. They have a variety of flavours (less than chatime) but the new pea colour drink is so pretty to look at! I had this in Taiwan a couple years back, and it’s nice to see it here. Customizable sugar and ice levels is always a plus.
Second location of Gong Cha has opened! The spur of BBT shops showing up around the city is still growing strong and steady. Where else than off Whyte Ave to add yet another chain to the mix! Difference between the downtown location to this new location is the fact that its their own stand alone shop. Across from the Shoppers on 81st Ave, the location has some street parking available out front with also the bonus of being a short distance from the parking lot with ample availability. Space inside is similar to what youd expect to find at the many other BBT shops around the corner. Walking through the doors youre greeted with the menu and counter on the left with the right side being more of the lounge area, with very sparse seating. Darker hues compared to their first location, with barely any music in the background. Menu is the same except they have some treats available here! (I think I saw some sort of cakes) Drinks were consistent and service was friendly and fast. Nothing really wrong with this location, but this wont be my first option to hangout on Whyte for BBT. Gong Cha is still my favorite for winter melon but I feel like this is more of a stop and go kind of place for me.
