Ordered through skip the dishes. First (and most likely last) time ordering from here. Ordered a regular poutine with added ground beef and my fries are so burned I can’t eat it. It doesn’t seem like their fries are normally this disgusting so I don’t know why mine managed to be so burned. I can’t believe they actually sent this out to me. Extremely disappointed.

First visit to La Poutine back when they first opened wasn’t that memorable. However, my daughter got a GC for her birthday and wanted to treat the family to dinner with it. Thinking I would still have to kick in more once we got there…I was very surprised to see changes since my original visit. Portion sizes must have tripled even though prices were similar. We were able to get 2 large portions (donair and supreme) along with a small (traditional) for just over $30. Fed a family of 5 with left overs. What a steal….fries made fresh, loads of toppings. To be honest though the traditional is like that comfort food we all crave…glad to see the many options but future visits may include the traditional poutine with every order. Will be back…this time it won’t be so long between visits.

Love, love, LOVE La Poutine! The cheese curds and gravy are the best you’ll have in Edmonton, hands down. There’s an assortment of different poutines available, many toppings and a special poutine that changes out every now and again. I love buying a poutine here in the summer and just sitting on one of the nice little tables outside to enjoy it.

Best poutine in the city! Lots of options including vegetarian friendly gravies. Their cheese curds squeak like they’re supposed to! Only issue is the place is pretty small and I imagine they get busy in the summer months.

This place is quite small but they have a wide selection of gourmet poutine. If you dont want any of the gourmet poutines, you can choose the size (regular or large), type of gravy (traditional or beef), and whatever toppings they have to offer. I ordered the Pizza Poutine for obvious reasons (best of both worlds). It was basically a traditional poutine with gravy and cheese curds but also added with pepperoni and sauted mushrooms. Now, most of the time, when I order a poutine, the gravy tends to be lacking a bit. However in this case, it was the complete opposite. The whole poutine was drenched with gravy. There were also more toppings than there were fries. Overall, it was delicious especially the beef gravy but I just wish they added a bit more fries. oliveoiloilpaint.com

**** Lol back for yearly visit… Lmao read our previous review… incidentally we got the same order… still has more gravy than fries.. kyds liked the traditional poutine *****this is a tiny tiny place. They have one parking spot. 2 tables 2 floating shelves/bar table and zero bathrooms. They still had the sutp coupon but it was only for free traditional poutine. We also tried the party poutine. .. beef.. green onions sour cream and hot sauce. It had a lot of gravy it’s a party Allright. A little too much going on. Could have more fries. $9 FOR regular. $3 more for large. Kinda pricy for just a fry dish. It’s ok with coupon but I wouldn’t come without. Next I’d ask for half the gravy on the side

Most authentic poutine in Edmonton. I’ve had their poutine multiple times over the past several years (eat-in, takeout, and even from their food truck), and it has been exceptional each time. Their expansive menu with vegan and gluten free options makes it easy to cater to groups with multiple dietary restrictions.
