very good food, everything we tried was delicious. but unfortunately the food only comes family style and i only went with my husband. A little bit pricey but would love to go again with a bigger group of people that would make it worthwhile.

Yupperz….Meat is getting a 5 from me. Epic. Its such a simple menu. Its meat….and some sides. Delicious sides. So heres what I ordered for the GF and myself:Half pound pulled pork Half pound brisket Half rack of ribsI smoked sausage3 pieces of fried chicken Burnt endsSmoked prawnsSmall brussel sprouts Large Mac and cheese….and 2 picklesSomehow I ate most of it. The brisket is fall apart, mouth watering bliss. It doesnt need sauce….The chicken was the unsung hero of the feed. Its like the Bugatti of fried chicken. And those Brussel sprouts are top notch. Go to Meat. Eat meat. Be happy…..

Had the opportunity to stop by to try their food. Their famous Mac and Cheese served with their selections of bbq meat were definitely worth a try. On top of it, the place has a great atmosphere, perfect for lunch/ dinner with family or friends!

The food was amazing. The pulled pork is to die for! The brisket falls apart in your mouth. I love the family style way of serving the food, they serve it all on a big platter. The prices are very reasonable as well. Also no matter what you get, buy a pickle with it too.

This restaurant is smaller, so be sure to get there early for the evening or expect to wait. They have many different meat options, went with the quarter of apple glazed smoked chicken, the half rack of bbq ribs and half a pound of the beef brisket. There were bourbon, cherry, spicy and mustard sauces to try with your meat in bottles at each table. For side options we tried the mac&cheese, house salad(ice burg lettuce, creamy ranch, tomatoes, green onion and bacon) and brussel sprouts. I didnt care for the brussel sprouts as they came cut up like a coleslaw. Would have preferred them whole. You also can get a giant pickle for $1.Service was good, the wait wasnt long for a table and we left full and satisfied with leftovers! If you love meat, you should definitely give this place a try!

This is the place I take meat-lovers. I mean, it’s in the name right? Nothing beats a family dinner ordering lots of things to try and sample together.Ambience is nice and clean. Service has always been quick and polite, even if there was a wait for a table. I’ve never waited more than 45 minutes and that was with a large group at a peak time. Smaller groups we have always gotten in right away. Some of the things we’ve tried (and order repeatedly): brisket, pulled pork, smoked chicken, ribs, baked beans, garlic fries (seriously addictive), brussels sprouts, mac & cheese (the best in the city!) and cornbread. Everything is always fresh and you can taste the time and effort going into every bite. As a vegetarian myself, I have always found plenty of options to enjoy while everyone else polishes off the house-smoked meat with house-made bbq sauces. The cherry and mustard sauce are my favourite.
