I have been here several times with my mother who eats raw/organic. It’s one of the only restaurants of its kind in edmonton. I expected to be underwhelmed but was pleasantly surprised! I have had several dishes on the menu. One of my favorites is the taco dish. If you don’t like healthy eats, I would not recommend. The prices are higher, but you are paying for quality ingredients so I don’t mind. The desserts are my favorite, I recommend trying their vegan cheesecake! I will continue to return.
Pleasant first time experience!Venue: Warm, harmonious atmosphere. Staff: Impeccable. A gentlemen served our table, he was a charming host – Our table felt right at home. He was also very helpful at helping us narrow down our selections from the menu. Aside from him, I noticed two other men circling the restaurant, taking orders, replenishing water and checking in etc. What caught my eye, the staff all seemed exude this joie de vivre. Wonderful energy. Food: Impressive. I am not Vegan but we decided to try his restaurant because the Birthday Boy we were celebrating that night, is. We all enjoyed our entree’s. The broccoli soup is to die for! I look forward to my next visit.
Food is great, elixirs are perfectly creamy and the drinks are thoughtful and delicious. I’ve always been happy with the food here. The service however is incredibly slow. Gentle, kind staff but very, very, VERY slow. 15 – 20 minutes between server visits, expect a meal to take a minimum of 1.5 hours even just for an entree and a tea for one person.
Addicted to the Bodhi Burger!! It’s the only thing I’ve ordered so far on their menu each time I go. My sister tried the Pad Thai which was also pretty good. Service has been good as well. However, this restaurant is quite expensive, 1 meal is about 20 bucks. But worth it in my opinion.
If you are looking to impress someone or change up a date eatery this is a great suggestion. Bit pricey for the portions however loaded with tasty options. Very friendly service. Two thumbs up!
This was my first time sampling the food at Noorish but I’ve heard good things and my daughter loves this place. She stopped by there and picked up some take out for me for lunch which was a really nice surprise. She got me the raw tacos and the miso lemon kale starter salad. I really liked the kale salad, it was earthy, tangy and came with an onion ‘cracker’. It was also surprisingly filling. The raw tacos were good but sloppily put together. There were three ‘tacos’, the wrap was butter lettuce which I love, however, there was dirt (or some dark matter) on the bottom of one of the leaves. The toppings were not distributed evenly either, the first two, randomly chosen had less than a tablespoon of the walnut taco meat but the third had about 2 tablespoons. Although the taste was good, I would just have liked to have some consistency. The price point would also argue for a consistent, well put together presentation because It was quite pricey for what it ended up being.
Groovy atmosphere! I love that this place is almost completely vegan. The Pad Thai is amazing. (Really good portion size, too.) Most of my friends think it’s a bit pricey but I feel the prices are pretty standard for eating out. The staff seem to get distracted by socializing with each other a lot but wholly, they are definitely kind hearted. Really lovely place!
