I like their broth. It’s light and flavorful. I also like that you can easily choose what meats you want. It’s definitely a little pricey for pho though, and the large is only a medium at many of the pho restaurants I’ve been to.
I had their pho with steak and beef balls (pho tai bo vien). The broth was quite flavourful, better than a lot of Vietnamese places in yeg. But I only got 1/2 a beef ball and a few small pieces of steak. 1/2 a beef ball in my entire soup???!!! Huge disappointment! Their salad rolls were pretty good. I probably won’t return though. I don’t like restaurants that rip off their customers so blatantly.
After trying many different pho places in Edmonton and being underwhelmed, I hoped I could finally make this my go to place. However, I was disappointed yet again. I had the pho satay which was very expensive for pho ($13.95). The soup was just OK. I ordered the spring rolls as well which were not too bad but again, very expensive (4 small rolls for 5.95). Alas, I must continue my search for good pho in Edmonton.
One of my go-to places for vietnamese. Not the best I’ve ever had, but it’s consistent and pretty good. The special leaf (la luop) bowl is a highlight.
Pretty decent pho, at a decent price.I’d say the size of their pho is similar maybe a bit larger than Tien Tuyenby Ellerslie and not quiteas bigas IPho on 99st and 34ave (still my favorite for now). Flavor of the soup was good and it seems not containas muchmsg as some other places I’ve been to. It was kind of odd that the place was co-existing with the Friends and Neighbors restaurant and it made me slightly skeptical that the quality of the pho may beauthentic(especially sincesomewhite dude took my order) but when it was all said and done I was satisfied with the quality. Service was pretty good, nothing to complain about. I’d go back if I were in the area. Maybe try the breakfast/brunch food they also serve.
Great service and yummy soup. Fast service, waitress checked on us regularly. food was great, and when we wanted to check out the waitress was fast also.
