Disgusting. At first we ordered the butter chicken platter. It came with butter chicken, nan bread, salad, and rice. The butter chicken sauce was not bad, however it was the consistency of soup. The chicken itself was terrible. It was not edible at all. The nan was fine but super greasy. The rice was good with good flavour however it too was greasy. We took it back because the chicken was not edible. We then ordered a paneer wrap, which came with fries. The fries were hella greasy with no flavour, and the wrap as well had no flavour. Barely touched our food. There was no people in there for a reason. Stay away! I currently feel sick from the small amount I had.
Nice to have another halal place! The chef was very friendly and it was pleasant chatting with him. The wings were very tasty and saucy! I only wish they could have made them spicier. The quesadilla in naan was pretty good – cheesy, crispy, with lots of chicken and veggies. Not a fan of the salsa though, it tasted like it came out of a jar. Fresh made salsa would have been much better. Friend got the Korean bulgogi steak sandwich and really enjoyed it. The fries were DELICIOUS, dipped in batter and perfectly cooked. The food is a little pricey and I think they’re trying to do too much with the menu, but I can definitely see myself frequenting this place in the future. I hope it sticks around!
