A Garneau Cafe boldly rests on the lively and ever so historic 109st, this spaciously mod cafe has been renovated to emulate all the other hipster vibed coffee shops around town. Continuing on my Journey to try out all the coffee shops to find the perfect Latte. Brings us to Transcend, the latte with a regular cup starting at $5.25 and a bigger size at $5.75 ;pricier tag for a latte- thats for sure; with nothing overly distinctive taste wise. Aside from location and how pleasing and airy the atmosphere is, there isnt anything over average about their coffee here. What DOES stand out are the milkshakes offered on the menu. London Fog Milkshake ($6.25) () Nice thick frothy blend that satisfied every quenchable tastebud. Conclusion, meh. Glad I tried, wont be going out of my way to come here for anything specific.
