It was fine. I thought it was going to be a restaurant. Didn’t realize it was a take-out place with a few chairs. Sitting and eating there is not comfortable. Has the food quality of a mall-food-court type of place. The pho, spring rolls, and sub were not bad, but overall I have no desire to go back. There are pho restaurants nearby that, for less than a dollar more, will actually give you GOOD food.
I ordered the chicken sate sub and was not impressed. The matchstick carrots are cut too thick and the cucumber slice inside was as thin as a piece of paper and there was only one. barely any onions or cilantro. The whole thing looks like it was slapped together. The spice level on the meat is too much, even for a spice lover like me. Definitely had better. I will return to try other items based on other reviews and because I work nearby.
Have ordered from this location a number of times. The food is very yummy and always consistently good. I always order the chicken Pho. The chicken is always fresh. It has a original taste compared to the other pho restaurants I have tried. Very flavourful. The order is normally ready in 5-10 min. They do deliver.
Seriously good food, great prices, and the bubble tea is wonderful. I love the special viet sub, and their soup is the only thing I’ll eat when I’m feeling sick (though I order it often when I’m well too). Salad rolls and spring rolls are fantastic too. If you find yourself in Marda Loop/Altadore, I really recommend giving this place a try.
We lived in Marda Loop for a year and it was our go to place because it’s wonderful! The food is consistently great and it’s not expensive. The other reviewers are obviously looking for fine dining from a hole in the wall viet place. I specifically recommend their satay pho soup, very very tasty every time!
The sub I got there was tasty, but it was small and on a whole wheat, healthy had gone too far when whole wheat stands in for a baquette. One of the least satisfying Vietnamese subs I’ve had.
Above and Beyond!. This excellent restaurant has won me as a customer for life and it all started with a rare mix up on my order. I order from here all the time and it is run by two of the sweetest Vietnamese ladies you will ever meet! Today, for the first time they accidently mixed up my order, (it was quite busy and there is only two of them running the show) I paid for it and I went home. I opened it up when I got home and realized that instead of getting a Beef Sate on rice with vegetables, I got a Chicken Sate on rice vermicelli. No big deal as I will eat anything these ladies put together for me! HOWEVER, just as I am about to take my first bite the phone rings! It’s the restaurant and they apologized for the mix up. Not only that, but she insists on bringing me the correct order to my house as she has my address from a previous order I made online!! Within 5 minutes she pulls out front with my correct order! How awesome is that?! She’s not the delivery guy, she’s the cook! They took ownership, jumped the counter with a restaurant filled with customers and fixed the issue all in 5 minutes! This place and these girls rock!
