I’ve driven by Glenn’s hundreds of times without knowing they make gluten free. When I’m on the road I stop here for a gluten free breakfast Sammy and it has always been awesome!
Both my husband and I ordered the lasagna and found it underwhelming. There was hardly any cheese on it and the meat sauce was nothing special. What really irked me about the whole meal though was that the lasagna cost $18. This is just ridiculous. This is Keg pricing for Denny’s type food. The service was also subpar but that’s the least of my concerns. I wouldn’t go back to this restaurant again.
Horrible prices for an average meal. We just ate at Glenn’s. The service was good, but the food and portions were not…The 13.50 burger was not even as large or as filling as a McDouble which is $1. 39….the miniscule drop of mashed potatoes was laughable….the breakfast special, which does not even have toast was $7 ..I don’t mind paying for good food, but this was well below average and the portions were tiny..if you don’t have a big appetite and want to spend top dollar for a small amount of food this is your place…I will not go there again…..Randy from Calgary
Terrible prices with average service. I went to glenns for breakfast/lunch today and i was strongly dissaponted. I ordered the club sandwhich and my girlfriend ordered the omlette. Both were around 19 dollars each. For 19 bucks i got a measely looking sandwhich and a small amount of onion rings. I also ordered a side of bacon. I got 4 pieces and they charged 5 dollars. My small glass of apple juice was 3 dollars. Everything seemed to be extremely over priced. The waitress gave average service which was fine but mine and my girlfriends meal ended up being 50 bucks. The food wasnt even that good and the portions were average at best. I do not recomend eating here unless you enjoy being robbed. Cora and phills are both muuuuuch better.
Had the sunday morning buffet, best buffet I’ve had in a long time! Food was fresh and hot, super friendly and quick service. We will be back 🙂
The food was average and food was over priced. I paid $4 more than the same breakfast at Rickis. A chef salad at $15? Service was very average.
A nice break. Stopped for brunch on the way to Calgary on an April 2014 road trip. An eclectic hodgepodge as far as decor goes but very clean and inviting. The waitress was very friendly and service was good. The breakfast buffet was pushed but did not look very appetizing so we opted for a turkey salad on 12 grain with onion rings on the side and a club sandwich with salad on the side. Both choices were tasty. Basic cooking done well. A wide selection of interesting teas. Worth a stop if you want a break from the highway.
