With the proximity of Ricky’s the the Galaxy Theatre I’ve always gone here for their cod and chips (and other meals) before seeing any movies and 95% of the time the food has been perfect. Over all these visits (well over 50) I’d say everything has almost always been perfect. There was a few rare times when service was sluggish, and a rare time that things really, badly fell apart (as in I got fish’n’chips where the fish I’m sure had been somehow fried twice, it was literally nothing but an impenetrable armored layer of batter over *thin air*, the fish had literally been boiled out of existence, breaking all physical laws of matter I think)… but otherwise I’d definitely recommend it. PS: DId I mention ‘best fries ever’? 😀
A wrong turn led us to ricky grill. We figure should be standard fare. It was kinda empty but the hostess was welcoming. Unfortunately she gave us a dirty high chair. The kids lasagna was decent and the tomato basil was quite tasty even though I had to pay $2 extra or a bowl. The wings were crispy and the tenders were fresh tasting. Where it falls apart is how long everything takes and we had to ask for everything we needed. The kids treasure chest is pitiful. It was mostly empty and what it did have was crayons pencils and the odd plastic toy. Why advertise this? It just disappoints the kids.
