I learned how good Smitty’s was from going to the one in Airdrie. When finding out there was a fancy one out in Gasoline Alley I though I’d go there for some delicious breakfast. Turned out their French toast tasted really ‘weird’ (I cannot describe better than that) and despite only three or so tables being filled (it’s hard to see, it’s so dark in there!) The waitress was seemingly distracted and sort of just brushed off the whole visit, I waited for a table for ten minutes before finally being seated. Think I’d rather drive all the way to Airdrie again from now on.
