I use to like coming here the portions use to be a good size and service was alway good. But on my visit today everything was much smaller in size especially my kids chicken strips and fries ! I wish I took a picture to show how small the chicken strips were !
Pretty standard breakfast here. I came in on the weekend for a bit to eat and had a pan scrambler. It was pretty tasty and the hash browns were probably my favourite part of he breakfast. Mostly because they are pretty much French fries that I can eat for breakfast. Server was attentive and quick to refill coffee
I’ve come here twice in the last six weeks. Service was good. . . Food was good . . . Fairly empty inside though. I stopped going to Humptys when it was in Westhills because the parking sucked and they couldn’t handle the place at half capacity. At this time I am impressed with them at their new location. That being said I’d still be hesitant to go if the place was actually full. In conclusion they are back on my good list hopefully they will succeed.
Reasonably priced food, not the best but decent. This new Humpty’s recently opened up in the area (where Rogers Video used to be). We didn’t think this place would be that big given that Rogers Video didn’t look too big to begin with, however, this Humpty’s is reasonably sized and sports a neutral yet inviting interior. We went on Friday evening, the snow was melting so people’s foot prints were being tracked all over the new hardwood floor. We were seated promptly, drinks served, and they were quick to take our order (we had to turn them away once as we were still making up our minds). The menu consists of items that is similiar to places like Denny’s and Smitty’s. You have your usual burgers, steaks, and breakfast items. On that day, the items that caught my eyes was the 3 piece fried chicken dinner. You get 2 sides, I picked the home potatoes and veggie medley, plus garlic toast.Food service was ok (10 min ish wait) plus arrived hot. The veggies looked to me like they were of the frozen kind (as the cuts were too uniform) – veggies consisted of items like carrots, brocolli, … and the home taters looked like leftover baked potatoes cut up in big hash brown size (well seasoned though). The chicken itself was alright, however I was unable to discern if it was the premade kind of home made kind. Chicken consisted of a wing, drum, and thigh. Each piece had that nice crunch to it, yet the flesh was somewhat moist (some parts of the chicken were moist while some was overcooked).Sad to say, I enjoyed the garlic toast the most. Despite being on the saltier side, it was done on a texas sized toast and well buttered.Overall though, food was ok, nothing memorable but not bad either. Still worth a visit.
