Amazing service, i went there every saturday and Kim was my server most of the time. She is an amazing server with excellent communication skills. Every week i came in. She makes a new suggestion on the menu for me to try out, and everytime she suggest something on the menu, i ordered it and love it. I didn’t even know that there is Vietnam made beer, but Kim told me there is, and suggested that I try Saigon, and I did. I ended up order 3 saigon beers and really enjoyed my dinning experience there. Kim is my favorite waitress there.
The best Vietnamese restaurant in the sw. Is you need your Vietnamese food fix and your in the SW. It’s great that they don’t use msg here so I don’t feel dehydrated when ever I leave ill always be back.
Lemon grass is a clean, tasty, friendly and affordable Vietnamese restaurant. This is the third time I have visited and the food is always very tasty. They have recently renovated the restaurant and gave it a more bright and open feel. I ordered the vermicelli with charbroiled tiger prawns, pork & spring rolls, an addition of sauce is included too. The food was great for the price you pay for, a large enough serving to fill you up. The only down side to this dish is the tiger prawns, which did not seem very large or meaty at all, otherwise I would have given a score of 5.
I’ve been here twice and my first visit, the soup I got was tasty but a friend ordered it for me when I was arriving late so I didn’t know exactly what I got. My second visit, I decided to order chicken soup and it was SUPER salty. Not sure why but I tried adding just a bit more black pepper to balance it out and it was still salty. I always finish my food including having the broth but this time I couldn’t. Overall, based on my first and recent experience, I’m going to give this restaurant a 3. If you’re in the area, you might as well driving 5-7 more minutes and check out Pho Huong Viet on 17th Ave.
I really like this place. Pho Huong Viet (PHV) ruined so many Vietnamese restaurants for me because it is SO good there, but finally I found another decent place when I’m craving something that PHV doesn’t offer or just new broth flavours. I’ve had the sate pho and really enjoyed the broth. Some of the meat was dry but it was still good. I also had another one of their soups with seafood. It wasn’t pho..it had a garlicky chicken broth I think. That was good too. This is probably my new second favourite place for Vietnamese.
Great quality food and great service! I’ve recently moved to this area and have ordered for pick-up many times and sat in the restaurant. Both services were always great. The family that owns this establishment are super friendly! The price is a little higher than some vietnamese restaurants but the quality is so worth it!!Only downside was that a couple of times the order was not ready at pickup time but I never minded waiting. The wait time was never more than 10 mins past ready time. Some ppl don’t like that but I know they put some extra TLC in their food!
Definitely the best vietnamese restaurant in the sw Calgary. I ate here last month and just uploading the pics now. I finished the pho and the bun. Service is the best as well. Quite authentic food, no msg for anything.
