Great local gem. We come a couple times a week, love the specials especially the tacos (finally have soft tacos. Been waiting forever!) and we enjoy the wings as are always fresh and tons of flavours. Service is bar none, prefer it over any other pub in the area, always greeted with a smile no Matter who the server. The shorter brown haired girl, Morgan if we recall, is one of our favorites. They are always prompt, seem genuinely happy and truly want you to enjoy your time there. Definitely recommend this place to my friends.
Had a very good experience last time I visited from Edmonton a year ago, went back and horrible experience, waitress took food order and then that was it, waited about 40 min for bill, went up to pay and she was there chatting with co worker, said service was bad, she said nothing to rectify the situation. Very disappointed with experience, will never go back again. Wish management was more involved with training staff or ensuring standards were met.
Great pub!7 of us came here on a busy night, the hockey game was playing but none of us actually knew that (terrible sports fans) so we were surprised the place was so full. The waitress and management moved a few groups around to accommodate us which was much appreciated.Our waitress was so prompt! Got us all drinks and water in about 5 minutes which was really incredible given how busy the place was. Everyone at the table also ordered food, which again came very quickly. This place really knocked it out of the park for service. Our waitress was quick and attentive with everything. Food was also very good. Not mind blowing, but for pub food, really good value for the price.I got the traditional club house, at the recommendation of the bf who had had it before, I asked for no mayo. It was good though even without mayo it was a bit on the greasy side. Sweet potato fries were perfect.I’ll gladly go here again if I’m in the area.
I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now, always for Taco Tuesdays. Have tried other things on the menu, but they had (note, had!) great tacos at an amazing price… until yesterday.Had 5 tacos and amount of beef was pathetic. It was basically a tortilla shell with a sprinkling of meat and cheese. If I just wanted tortilla shells, I would have bought some from a grocery store… Other people at the table like more sides than I do, so I’m sure they were a bit more satisfied, but I left very very hungry. So disappointing.I will say, on previous visits (which have been many), the carnivore poutine is great, and their chicken sandwiches are great! The salads I used to enjoy are no longer on the menu so that’s pretty disappointing. They DO have a great sports bar atmosphere. Went for Super Bowl last year, and go for Jets games all the time (well.. used to..) big TVs, and they play audio not just for Flames games but other games as well. So… I’ll be back (close to home and a great sports bar) but I was very very disappointed! couchcritique.wordpress.com
Great place! Wings are always consistently good, and can never go wrong accompanied with a good caesar. Its always a fun environment but my friends and I usually go because the service is awesome, and really really friendly! One server specifically with a sweet voice always makes us feel welcome and well looked after! Treating people like you genuinely care and not just because of the tip does not go unnoticed! Thanks guys, keep up the good work!
Cheap perogie night is so delicious. I got the red pepper garlic dry rub, bacon bits and chives and the garlic dip. Delish. 25 what more can you ask for?
Came here for wings, burgers and poutine once and perogies a couple of times. The food has always been good great. I think they need more waiting staff, waiting has been an issue a couple of times not sure to the servers abilities but due to the lack of servers.
