Not free for babies. Went for lunch with my 1 year old and his grandma, food was good, but asked for a quarter cup of soup for my baby and they wouldn’t do it, so had to buy a cup (of which he ate one quarter of) just for him. Pretty sad if you ask me. I have never ever had to pay for any food for my baby anywhere else. Probably won’t be coming back.
Very good service, greeted and seated promptly. Food was good, but found portions small.
Unbeatable service. This experienced was happened last Sunday(nov.18) it was so busy, but we never wait so long to be seated.we got our server right away, her name is ARLEN.she’s so courteous, fast and fluent in English.i can’t imagine how she can speak English well.that was busy time, but she accommodate us very well.. The drinks and foods serve on time… We really enjoyed our foods, taste good except the portion of mashed potato is small.but still good.I can recommend this restaurant to anybody. As well as the people working in this establishment..I don’t know if she can remember us,we are setting in the corner right of restaurant when you enter.. I gave her a good tip, still my wife keep on telling me to do this,,to let you know that she did a great job! She is one of your assets in swiss chalet..thank you for readingNevin Lyle
Lunch not received. I thought we would try a new restr. since we drove from Dawson Creek to grande Prairie.. t asked my wife if Swiss Chalet would be fine..We parked our Car at 11:45 am.. Went in .. Not to busy…good ..got seated in a both beside the door leading into the kitchen where to food dishing go back..noisy…we where waited on right away..very good …she hten took our food order..then the service went to bad..after 15 min. we where told the food would be there shortly…25 min. later we where told the cook dropped the food on the floor and they had to start again..mean while all the other customers that came in all seemed to be eating .. why are we waitng? at 35 min. she said soon… we left.. paid for the coffee and pop….told the front waitress what we though and paid her..she didn’t seem to care…we went home to Dawson creek very upset and hungry….IF THAT’S THE KIND OF SERVICE YOU GIVE …GOOD LUCK…HOPE LOTS OF PEOPLE SEE THIS…KURT HANSEN1508 105TH AVE DAWSON CREEKBC V1G 2M4THIS IS NOT A JOKE……..
ANother chain. Seriously another chain restaurant without a chef and a staff of kids cooking food. Just what GP needs:(
Newfie. Tried Swiss Chalet for the third time and still no improvement in the size of the chicken. They give you double the fries to compensate for the extremely small chicken. I had coleslaw for the first time and it was awful. There is no comparison to any of the Swiss Chalets I have visited in several other provinces.
Good food could have been hotter, portions should be a little bigger
