Same servers every time I go there . Thinking there the owners or family business but there not relly that great at what they do . I was not drinking alcohol so I was always forgotten about which pissed me off the food is the same they should switch there menu up a bit and for the cost of the food… frozen vegetables like come on what a joke. I think grande praire needs a better Greek resturant. Pull up your sleeves
Sangria and saganaki what else do I need to say? I mean really how can you possibly go wrong with fried cheese and fruity wine? Service was pretty good… My wine glass was never empty!
Best Resturant In Town!. Had supper at the Acropolis the other evening and what an experience!! Was greeted by manager who shook my hand and my wife’s, then promptly seated us. After we had a fabulous waitress who was friendly, courteous and knew the menu. Had the BEST dolmathes and saganaki . Then went to the main course and had the best shoulder of lamb and my wife had the rack of lamb which was very flavourful and well presented. Hands down one of the best Greek restaurants I have ever been too, and I have travelled to Greece many times. Thank you Stelios for such a great evening!
Very disappointing!!. Went there for dinner a few weeks ago, it was our first time there, and we were very disappointed. Spent $150 on meals that were very poor. Had the calamari to start, it was greasy and soggy. Then for entrees had the rack of lamb and lamb souvlaki. The rack of lamb had very little meat on it, was gristly and had absolutely no flavour. Not even any tzatziki on the plate. The souvlaki was not much better, it was tough and had little flavour. The rice was greasy and barely warm. We will not return to this restaurant, and would advise that you not waste your money there.
Good service. Not much choice for vegetarians. All veggie options were deep-fried. I had a veggie platter, which was mediocre. Spinach pie seemed not fresh, the filling was a little cold. Hummus was ok, a little grainy but overall ok. Pita was too crispy for my taste, not sure if they make it in house. We had calamari for starter, it was good but very greasy. My husband had a rack of lamb. He loved it. Not sure if I will come back.
Great experience! 10/10 Food is worth the price. Must try the rack of lamb!
An excellent experience. The lamb was tender and well seasoned and most succulent. The portions were very generous they had a full bodies sangria which was very thirst quenching and refreshing. We ordered the shrimp appie which was nice not over bearing in flavour enhanced with garlic. I was only disappointed with the balaclava that was ruined by having caramel sauce drizzled over it and microwaved to crispness caramelising the honey. We will definately return.
