First impression when I walked in was that felt like I wasn’t in grande prairie anymore which is a huge bonus in my books. I had lunch box B which included various tempura, dumplings sashimi and beef. This meal included miso soup and salad to start but no drink. Everything was delicious and the service was good. The miso soup was a bit colder than I like- some other Japanese restaurants in town serve it piping hot. The only issue I had was it was a bit pricey- $30 for one person including a beverage. I still give it a 5/5 even though it was expensive. You could go to less expensive places around but you get what you pay for.
Love this restaurant. One of our favourite places to eat. Best miso in town. We order take out from here a lot. Staff are friendly. Service is quick. They also serve sake caesars, which are super yummy.
So my wife and i decided to order from this resturaunt last night and was pleasantly surprised with they’re won ton soup…it was very tasty and the wontons were filled with deliscious meat…we were then excited to try the beef yakisoba and were so disappointed we had to throw it out…there was 5 small slices of beef…no vegetables and chow mein noodles that were over cooked…for 75.00 dollars for 2 pll we were left wondering how they got an 80 percent satisfaction rate.
Service is average to semi good. Food is pretty darn good. I’m not a sushi expert by any means, but I have tried a few places, here in Grande Prairie. This one was the best for price, taste, quality and selection. I’m sure there are better places in Canada for sushi, like Vancouver, but come on! This is Grande Prairie. Bottom line, this place has fresh food, good prices, good flavours and good selection with a pretty extensive menu
This is my favorite restaurant in GP. Always good food, very fresh, very fast, and the front counter lady is very friendly 🙂
BAD SUSHMI….. I ordered food for delivery everything i ordered was okay until i opened the box of sushimi. it was dark red and it was bad. I must say I am very unhappy! please do not give this sushimi to other cutomers it is WRONG! Thank you and my GOD bless YOU!
Horrible food & service. Was a usual once a week customer & service went downhill fast as did the quality of good. Won’t be back. I’ll head over to Prairie Sushi instead where the servers are always friendly & food fantastic!
