I just moved to the neighbourhood and noticed this place while I was driving home one day. Took me a while to even bother trying it out due to all of the negative reviews, but hey… I wanted some asian takeout and I didn’t want to pay for delivery, so I made the call. I think the negative reviewers really need to re-examine their expectations! You are going to a tiny little restaurant in a residential neighbourhood in a tiny little strip mall. This should be the first sign that you are not going to have your mind blown by the food! However, that being said, the food was great value for the price. It was just being put in my takeaway container when I arrived. And the owner was polite to me! I never write reviews, but I felt I had to say something due to all the ridiculous 1.0 reviews. It’s totally fine! The lady who owns the place is PROBABLY not glaring at you. lol
Been here twice. Can’t remember what I had the first time but it was great. Today I had the curry beef. It said it was spicy and it made me sweat. Hence they told the truth! It came out right from the kitchen so it was temperature hot as well, which is the way it should be. The tea was very hot as well. As it should be. I would have given a 5 if the service was a bit more efficient and cheerier. They aren’t grumpy, but also not very cheerful. Kind of neutral. But the food is excellent.
Lived down the street from Pho & Bun for a long time.. always dependable for a hearty bowl of Pho on a chilly day. Their menu is great as well, I’ve tried most of it.
If you are not welcome customers and don’t have service mind please closed your business !!!Me and my friend walked in to the restaurant and yes we saw the sign PLEASE WAIT TO BE SEAT.We was waited for like 3 mins and the old guy just give us the look and said NOTHING to us.i just though maybe he calling server in the back to seat us but no one came. During after lunch rush I guess I’m ok to seat ourself since only 3 tables there that occupied and still at least 10 tables EMPTY. So we seat ourselves and a minute we sat the old guy came to asked us if your take out or dine in. So I told him we are dine in. He told us right away that SIGN SAID WAIT TO BE SEAT with his attitude. So I wasn’t impressed by that! So on the way back to he grab the menu for us he still mumbling about us till he gave us menu and I still got the glares look from him that make me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome here.So couple minutes I looked at the menu and he still keep giving me the glares look and keep slamming his dishes. So I decided to walk away this place and end up at new restaurant just couple blocks away.So sad that we are living in this neighbourhood and want to support our community but I don’t really feel welcome here at all.I working at restaurant I don’t know if you are having bad day or what not I never treat customers like he did to me.IF YOU ARE HAVE ANGER ISSUES!! FIX IT , GO TO THERAPY OR CLOSED YOUR BUSINESS!!!DON’T TAKE ON CUSTOMERS!!PHO IS PHO almost the same thing as any pho restaurant a lot out there that they want business and appreciated customers.Enter at your own risk !
Yummy bubble teas, coconut being my go to! Fresh quick food for a reasonable price. Could be updated as it’s a little lacking in the atmosphere department but overall a happy customer
Drove to this place only to find a crude sign on the door stating take out only until 4PM.Waste of my time. Should have checked out the reviews with the number of 1.0 ratings first.
Worst place ever, never even made it 5 minutes in this place due to the rudeness of the staff. Don’t waste your time with this place! If you sit down and only order tea when dining with others you will be lectured on how if you don’t eat you cannot stay. Awful place!!!
