First of all, a correction to La Boheme’s location. It is not in Beverly. It’s a couple of miles west, in Highlands. So: to the food. My wife and I ate brunch there on Sunday. The main dining area is a beautiful room, dating back 100 years or so. On brunch days, a wide assortment of really fresh pastries and fruit is displayed on a side table. I enjoyed the croissants with some excellent jam and my wife had some fruit and a croissant too. Then we checked out the menu. My wife chose the crepe filled with artichokes, leeks, sun-dried tomatoes and wild mushrooms and topped with bchamel sauce and I went for the eggs Benedictine with smoked salmon. When they were served, the eggs were delicious. They came on an English muffin and were loaded with smoked salmon and a very good Hollandaise sauce. My wife really enjoyed her crepe too. A very pleasant eating experience, supported by first class service. Cost for two with coffee: about $50. Well worth it.
Went to la Boheme this past Sunday for brunch , the food was great along with an outstanding array of pastries and fruit in the brunch table . I have read the review of Adam Rohan , who also dined on Sunday . Unfortunately he ruined the experience of all the other diners in the place . He sat directly in front me and ate everything on his plate plus went to the brunch table 3 times for pastries and desserts . He then caused a scene in the restaurant by complaining and going from table to table to try and get people to agree with his complaints . I find it funny that a guy who’s real name is Mike Ritter and was in jail for years for fraud is someone who thinks people should believe his lies . He comes into a fine dinning establishment looking for an excuse to get a free meal , then walks out on the bill after ruining everyone’s afternoon . He then proceeds to go online and write reviews !!As far as la Boheme I frequent the place regularly and love the croissants on Sunday !
This is the best Eggs Benedict in town! And I’ve tried a lot!!I love the Sunday brunch – there is a main you can choose in addition to a fruit, pastry and dessert buffet. The restaurant is just so quaint and beautiful, and service is always great. Afterwards you can take a stroll down Ada Boulevard, it’s a perfect Sunday every time we go!
Atmosphere is the best part…the wine is delicious too 🙂 The food was a little salty. Where can you go wrong with bacon wrapped scallops…most excellent. Great little romantic spot in a historical building for a quiet night out.
Excellent. Would really like to make a night of it one day and stay in one of their elegant rooms.Baked…brie. So very good.Everything my wife and I were hoping for on a quiet night out.Great service. Top notch food.Certainly worth checking out!
Very disappointing, ordered mussels – sorry don’t have! Ordered prawns , got 7 frozen shrimps from a bag from costco
A nice quiet restaurant. I had asparagus soup, and artichoke crepes. My husband had French onion soup and seafood casserole. Beautiful presentation. Delicious. Our server was part owner and she was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The prices were reasonable for such a quaint restaurant. Keep up the great work.
