Very clean bathroomsQuick serviceOrdered 4 – lemon Grass beef salad rolls – great peanut sauce – just lettuce no other veggies 🙁 94 charbroiled Pork and shrimp with spring rolls on rice vermicelli 50 charbroiled lemongrass chicken and spring rollsPretty average – some weird menu items like stir fried shrimp and scallop macaroni
Two out of five is for the flavours only. Broth had lots of flavour but service was nowhere near close to being acceptable. We stood in front of the counter for three minutes before someone even showed up. We didn’t get any water pass the first glass and the our order wasn’t taken till twenty minutes into sitting. This place is also more expensive than other Vietnamese restaurants I’ve been to and they don’t offer different sizes of noodle soup.Save yourself a trip, you’ll be disappointed
Appreciated the environment – music was quiet and was more inviting to stay a bit longer than some other Vietnamese sit-down restaurantsHowever, the satay beef banh mi was VERY underwhelming. Peppers were placed randomly for the spicy kick (seeds included – if that matters to some). Very little beef, very little veggies. Created a dry experience with inconsistent hotness. It is harsh to judge a place on one serving on one particular day, but I will probably try other places in my calgary travels before I come back here.
I eat here once a week!. There are quite a few Vietnamese places in the area and only a couple of them are good, this one has to be the best. The food is consistently good and the owners are very friendly people. If you want to be waited on hand and foot, don’t go for Vietnamese, every Vietnamese place in the area has the same type of service, if you need something, ask them, they don’t mind! Try the number #9! Best thing on earth!
Good tastingg food, bad service. I’ve been to this location 3 times. Everytime the food tastes good and the service is not so great. I ordered a spicy dish. It came out hot and fresh, and tasted pretty good. I only asked for water to drink. I got this little tiny glass of water. I expected the server to come around and check on how the food was, didnt happen. I expected the server to refill my glass, didnt happen. The server didnt do anything. Someone from the kitchen brought out the food. I would expect some level of service
Good subs, fast and reasonable price.. The subs are usually good, the bun is delicious, and the pho is tasty and cheapish. The wings were small and disappointing, but most everything else I’ve had was OK to great.
Love me some Vietnamese. Came here on valentines day with my gf I got the seafood thai satay rice noodle soup the broth was delicious & seasoned well my gf got shrimp & spring rolls on vermicelli tried it was good & the veg on it was pretty fresh. Our food came out pretty fast & staff was friendly but by fare the best thing we had was desert. I normally don’t care for deserts but the gf wanted to try the fried banana with ice cream it was absolutely delicious by far my favorite item we tried. Not the best Vietnamese place I have been but was solid
