Good but not cheap. Found the meat (I had the bison) really tasty but found they charge for toppings that every other donair place does not.though the meat was good, without having to buy the toppings it was very bare bones donair
Good food. Had small chickens and they were good. Like how several sizes are available. Meat quality and sauces were good. Not cheap but reasonable.
Never cared for Donair until I met Uncle Mo. I’m not a big donair fan and was really hesitant to go, but I went with my uncle who has been a loyal customer for years. The chicken and beef are pretty good, as good as other places. If you want to be wowed by tasty donair meat, order the lamb or the bison… incredible! So very melt-in-your-mouth delicious! If you are like me, and don’t usually like lamb or bison, the friendly dude behind the counter will likely offer you a giant piece to taste before you order. He’s super friendly and seems to have quite a legion of regular customers whom he knows by name; always a good sign for any restaurant.Everything is really fresh and tasty, and after going there a bunch of times and never being dissatisfied, I would recommend this place to anyone. My only complaint is that they close at 7… sometimes I wish they were open at least until 8. : )
Went there today, had a mix donair (bison and chicken ) very delicious. Sweet sauce was actually sweet unlike other places and the garlic sauce had a perfect taste to it. On the other hand , service was amazing. The guy has a pretty good connection with his costumers, he’s talkative and funny. The girl is very sweet , she asked if I enjoyed my donair. I really recommend this place and I with no doubts will be returning.
Average. I would not say it is the best.I have had Donairs around the city and I would choose others. It just was lacking in flavor. The service was great and friendly.Well I tried it and that’s my opinion.
Best Donair In Calgary. For Starters: They make pretty much everything from scratch including the meat. The Pita – soft and fresh and you can tell their brought in daily.Meat – spiced nicely so it leaves a little hint of flavors all over your palet as you eat it.Toppings – Good choice selection with nice sliced tomatoes and no cores in the lettuce. This place has hands down the best, freshest donair in the Cgy, Airdrie area.Go see the guys and tell em Turtle sent you and get 10% off.
Good. So i love donairs…love em! Normally not a fan of places that don’t slice it right off the rotisserie, not a fan of pre cut meat sitting in a warmer. Uncle Moe’s donair meat was in a warmer, however was not too bad at all.I’m still a fan of crispy meat freshly sliced and i’ll be sure to request that next time, but the sauce at uncle Moe’s was what made this donair. A combo of the spicy sauce and the house made garlic sauce was perfect. Overall needed more meat for sure (i ordered a regualar). I’d give this a 7.5/10. I’d go back and try a bigger badder donair next time
