Excellent customer service with delicious food. Definately recommended for people who loves food with quality. Perfect place for authentic indian food For dinner and lunch,it was busy but service was super.
Food was delicious, delivery came on time, lot of choices for dishes. We will definitely order delivery again. Our 2 and 4 year olds enjoyed it too.

Absolutely Amazing!This is hands down one of the best Indian restaurants in the city. The quality of food was exceptional, and the service was superb! Our server’s name was Umesh. He was extremely knowledgeable of all menu items and helped me with my selection based on personal experience. Everything was cooked to perfection with a high emphasis on traditional Indian style. I would 100% recommend this location to anyone looking for a great meal. They have every day Lunch Buffet also and this is best option now in the NW.
I have enjoyed several lunchtime buffets at Gate of India. There are so many delicious dishes and desserts, but my favourites are butter chicken and the generous basket of fresh naan bread. I am gradually introducing new foods on each trip, along with yogurt for the spicier ones. The customer service is friendly and gracious, and I tell all my friends about this hidden treasure in our neighbourhood.
I normally do not post reviews online, but my experience with Gate of India has been so good that I am finally posting a review! It’s a great team there, the young man co-coordinating it all ‘Umesh’ has excellent customer service and gives you an excellent Food-service-Experience every time. The chef at the back-end prepares every dish to perfection and the best tasting Indian food that one can ever find. Very fresh and good quality ingredients too. Where I live (Panorama Hills NW Calgary) I have around 4 different options around my house and Gate of India is not the closest one, I still dare not try even ordering food from anywhere else, as my wife always finds faults in most food. With this restaurant I always see a smile on her face..well.. happy wife .. happy life..!! lol
This place is a hidden gem. Went first time today with my husband for it was my birthday. Staff was nice..and the food was the best indian food iv had till now in calgary ! And the quantity was amazing too!!! Loved it
