So disappointing. Had the curry vermicelli soup and if was bland. It’s nothing like the delicious curry broth from the old location that was on MacLeod. The satay sauce is also inferior in comparison to the old south location. The service was fine and the restaurant was clean but I doubt I’ll ever come back.
Wasn’t a huge fan of this place even though it seems like a new pho spot in the northwest. The portions were largely Noodle and Less meat and the broth was just ok. This place seems to cater more to non Vietnamese.
Country hills location. Rude service. Terrible food. Overpriced. Should take lessons from other restaurants. Will never go back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I live in the area so I thought I would try it out. I was thoroughly underwhelmed in comparison to other Vietnamese restaurants in Calgary. I had vermicelli with beef and spring rolls. Small portions overall, carrots are not very well pickled, not enough carrots, beef is tender but not anything spectacular. Stingy portions with regards to the beef. Spring rolls have a weird aftertaste. Service is nice and order comes out fast. Prices not competitive.Try TOA Vietnamese cuisine downtown or Little Saigon Bistro instead. Won’t be returning here.
It’s not great but its not gross? Haha probably one of the better Vietnamese joints up in Country Hills. If you don’t want to leave the Coventry area, this place will do the trick 🙂
Yay!! So happy there’s a more authentic Vietnamese food in the North! The service is good too! They have special bun bo hue and bun rieu (vegetarian only) which both broths tastes good. The beef stew and pho bo hit the spot too! The service is always good and food is delivered fairly fast. Def will be one of my regulars!
Lovely little spot, clean nice restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. The deep fried wontons were delicious. The Vietnamese subs were good as well (pork satay and chicken satay). They weren’t the best Vietnamese subs but the portion was big and overall it was satisfying. I loved the sliced orange at the end of the meal that was a great treat. I will return, next time for pho !
