Pho is bland, you can tell they didn’t take time making the broth. I had to add quite a bit of salt and pepper to it because there wasn’t much taste in the broth. However, based on my observation of the clientele there, the taste is probably catered more towards non-Vietnamese people. Service was pretty quick though.
This is the worst pho I have ever had in my life. Absolutely inedible. Ordered beef satay and seafood satay to take home. I never usually stray from the usual pho place in marda loop but as that’s across the city from me I keep trying new places more south hoping to find somewhere comparable in awesomeness. Anyways, the noodles smelled of plastic the satay broth was so grainy it was disgusting the seafood was over done not to mention the beef which was so bland I could have been eating cardboard. I have no idea how this place has so many great reviews, I’ve been here twice and but years apart and both times remember being unimpressed except this time I’m actually terrified I might be throwing up later. Honestly it’s awful….Oh ya and the deep fried wontons were burnt. If I wasn’t exhausted I’d be driving the 25 mins back to demand a refund.
I have been coming here for years… has to be one of the best pho spots in all yyc!!!!! Location is great and easy to get to ( I’ve been traveling from all over the city)
I’ve tried a lot of pho places and this is by far the best Satay Beef noodle soup I’ve ever had! Quick service and great price, I love this place!!
I went with a fairly large group and we all enjoyed our food. We tried a variety of things including spring rolls, soups, and noodle dishes and all of them were good! The service was fast and friendly. Overall I was really happy!
The food here is really good! Probably the best fried wontons I’ve ever had in my life, and the Pho was a nice large portion that had really good flavour
Delightful and friendly staff. Isabelle does a great job ! The food is ready fast and good. The place was busy and had lots of take out orders. Definitely worth a try !
