Okay I love bagels, but good ones. My neighbour owned Delectable Delights and got the bagels from Montreal I was lucky to get a dozen a week from them. My Marvins was another favourite, Marv is a good friend, He recommended this place. Since I was next door having dinner I decided to get some. I will be back often, Best bagels I have had in 20 years. . . .
CASH ONLY! Just discovered this place and I’m hooked. Have tried both the smoked meat and the lox bagel sandwiches. I’m working my way through all the bagel flavors but so far the sesame and poppy seed are great and the maple was like a bagel donut. Great owners too!
Montreal Bagels in Calgary is the best place to get real bagels. My self and husband heard from friends and wanted to try it, we got only bagel with cream cheese. It was so good! We got a dozen bagel. This is the real bagel. People are friendly and warm welcoming. You guys are doing good.
Not sure if a 140 characters is needed. Perfect bagels. The smell walking is is amazing in itself. I’ve moved and miss the almost daily stop to get a fresh bagel. Staff is very friendly as well. A gem in haysborough. Check it out.
Went to check it out because of it’s high ratings on here and I live so close. Best bagel I’ve ever had! the cream cheese is also good, I’m not sure if it’s better than standard Philly’s but I used it and enjoyed it with the bagels. I got a dozen and ate them all within about three days. Pricing is great too. Really want to try their sandwiches as well.
This place rocks! We make the drive all the way from Edmonton and it is worth it! This place is the real deal, and made the same way as in Montreal . The smoked salmon and Montreal smoked bagel sandwiches are mouth watering as well!
Best bagels west of Montreal. Having mis-spent much of my late teens and early 20s in Montreal, I can confirm these are THE BESTBAGELS you will find west of Montreal. I only wish they were closer to my home.If you think those donut-shaped bread things they sell at Tim’s or grocery stores are bagels, you really need to try Montreal Bagels. It like comparing frozen fish sticks to fresh seafood caught that morning. No, fish sticks would be better than those bAgels sold elsewhere in Calgary.
