We are frequent customers at Franco’s, we are there at least 2-3 times a week in the lounge. We were saddened to hear that Clarisse was no longer working there, she made us feel very welcomed by knowing us and knowing our orders. While we were there, we noticed her bubbly personality made everyone else comfortable as well. Sadly, we will have to visit other places due to her departure.
For being such an old ghetto looking building from the outside the food was quite good! Went for lunch and had the vinny special and it was quite large and very cheesy. The service sucked, the two servers just stood at the hostess station and talked the whole time she checked on us literally 20seconds after the other server dropped the food off and we haven’t even taken a bite at this point so I told her that and she never returned until we shoved our plates to the outside of the table. They never stopped talking even when we walked right past them on the way out. Unimpressed,
I ordered a margherita pizza to-go after hearing that it was named of one Edmonton’s best pizza spots. They did not disappoint! Just the right amount and cheese. The crust was thin without being too thin. I’ll definitely come back again.
My cousin and I decided to try a random place we had never been before and we ended up at Franco’s and we will certainly be going back. Service was great… Our waitress was over lots and always made sure our drinks were full. The pizza and pasta was delicious and prices were comparable to similar restaurants. It was pretty busy which can is always a good sign. Definitely worth going to.
Absolutely brutal. I used to order from Francos quite often and they were great. Over the past couple years I’ve ordered maybe 5 times and at least 4 of those times my order has been wrong and the quality seems like it’s out of a can. This last time they argued with me on the phone that my pasta baked with cheese had the cheese melted to the bottom…who gets baked pasta with cheese on the bottom??? I will never order from them again!
Double Check your Bill. If you are using a credit card or Interact at the bar, make sure the total is accurate. My MC was charged nearly double the amount.Not surprising, but it sucks.
Service was good. Food was terrible. Slow to come from the kitchen – cold, greasy, way over use of dressing on salad. When artichokes are the first ingredient listed you’d think you could find more than 3 small pieces. Won’t be back for a long time.
