Incredibly warm service and hearty dishes. The laksa was nicely seasoned, and the portion was certainly generous. The beef rendang, however, was quite disappointing. The quantity seemed a little small for the price, and the dish was ridiculously oily. The rotis it came with were exceedingly greasy and didn’t have many of the characteristic layers (they paled in comparison to banana leaf’s rotis). If you’re craving Malaysian and stuck in the NW, definitely give Tropical Delight a visit, but I wouldn’t make the trip.
The Laksa here is the best in the city. Even better when they offered dine-in seating. The broth is tasty and with the right amount of spiciness(that you can choose) it’s even better. The rice and noodle dishes are great as well. The portions are more than enough for the price you pay. It’s consistently good here.
