Went with a date for the suite surrender play and it was amazing to say the least. I was laughing the entire time. And the buffet was out of this world I ate three huge plates before the play started. Unlimited Alaskan king crab legs, jumbo shrimp, oysters, Thai curry shrimp, chicken cordon blue, Swedish meat balls, slow roasted lamb with gravy, slow roasted beef, endless salads and pastas so much food I tried to have a bit of everything ad couldn’t get half in the boiler. And dessert was all the fresh fruit you can ask for, cheese cake cookies carrot cake just never ending food. I had 5 plates total.
Last time I was here was about 5 years ago, i was very disappointed which is why I never came back. Decided to give it a second shot for lunch buffet. Worse idea ever, lunch buffet didn’t have much. The selection wasn’t great, we never received notification from the waiter that they were closing the buffet. Went to get dessert, and learned they closed the buffet room. Service from waiter was really well, but the manager or whoever was in charge was really impatient and it felt like we are an annoyance. Not worth my money
Amazing Buffet!. Such an elaborate buffet! Always a treat to come here!
Just came back from stage west other than a little problem i had with them sinking the same knife they used for pork into the prime rib, it was great. I was highly skeptical going in as ive never really been a fan of dinner theater or audience participation i was laughing longer and harder then everyone that was anticipating it, and within 10 min of the show starting i was suprised to see my hand shoot up when they were looking for volunteers. So much fun would not hesitate to go back. Cast was great. Richard Karn had me reminiscing of earlier years while keeping a smile on my face whenever he took the stage. I know its not Broadway but for Calgary you guys deserve a Bravo from me and that doesnt come easy. Bravo!!!
Contradiction. Great buffet, desserts are abundant, however is limited for those with dairy allergies. The mango pudding they had was a great alternative, but it has been discontinued. Unfortunate, cuz it was good.Ticket includes dinner & a show. Beverages are extra, but to be charged for pop refills is quite amusing. Con, McDonalds doesnt even charge for refills.Oh, the Chinese woman behind the coat check counter isn’t that friendly or polite cuz shes related to the owners.
Great First Visit.. Thought the buffet was wonderful with a great variety of salads, meat dishes, carving station included turkey and beef, sushi station was great. Desserts were more than plentiful. We were very impressed with the buffet. I thought I was on a High End Cruise ship, as the food and entertainment were top notch.
Very Disapointed !. Today being Sept 29th 2010 we went to the Lunch Buffet & Show , this is the beginning show for seasons tickets. I was so disappointed to see that they changed the lunch to a brunch, it also consisted of alot of egg dishes to which I have a severe allergy to eggs, then to find that they have roast beef and ham but no potatoes unless you wanted to eat the over cooked hash browns, they also had a shrimp noodle dish which was so dry due to there not being an ounce of sauce on it and the noodles being fried to a dry/crispy stage, I have been going for 2 years which we are now beginning our 3rd year and have never been so disappointed at the food that they had there today when I asked about the menu to see if this was a sample of what was to come they said yes. I feel for the amount of money it costs to go to this show and so called brunch that sausage and eggs and hash browns are cheap and are easy to make at home, So if they are cutting costs they are sure doing a good job of it. So all I can say is buyer beware don’t go to the Brunch as you will be very disappointed.
