Hell yes to the corn fritters. Ordered a snack pack and a 3 piece fritters. Ate all the fritters in one go…haha and got too full to eat the rest of my meal. DELICIOUS. Ate the chicken a little later, and it was still juicy and awesome. Love the gravy at this location too…! I’ll need to try the fritters with honey next time! For under $10, was a lot of food for lunch and snack.
Tried this Calgary classic for the first time this weekend. Corn fritters were delicious and both the chicken and fries exceeded expectations. I do prefer the crispiness and flavour of Wow Chicken though.
Every now and then I get a really big craving for this place. Especially for the gravy and corn fritters. The corn fritters bring me back to being a kid. I can usually do without the white meat from here as it’s usually too dry. This is the best Chicken On The Way location probably tied with 17th Ave SE.
