Outstanding sashimi and nigiri. Great quality of fish. Rolls also very good. Good service, quiet fast and reasonably priced for what you get. Sashimi cuts are larger than what you get on 17th ave
I guess that’s why its called fusion sushi NO all you can eat restaurant . Pretty funny. But yeah. I will leave it at that. Which is really funny 🙂
Great place with what I think is the best Sushi in Calgary. Unfortunately it gets confused with a newly opened ‘all you can eat’ fusion sushi on 10th Street (which offers the kind of sushi you would expect from all you can eat ) This place is on Kensington road and has tasty rolls and good quality fresh fish.
Great spot and not as busy as other sushi spots in town. If you’re looking for peace and quiet dinner, I highly recommend this spot. Very under rated. Try their nagi toro, delicious!! Slices of blue fin are a must. Their servings are reasonable and not too pricy for what you get. The food gets to you at a reasonable time and no complaints on the service. This place will go in my rotations for sushi joints for a quiet evening.
Great staff, very friendly, and always remember me!! Awesome fresh sushi. Favourite place in Calgary for sure. Also appreciate the discount on takeout, especially for nights on the go!
I had parked right in front of the location with a friend as we were answering the craving for sushi for lunch. Once we got out of the vehicle and were walking around the side to find the entrance, we had the waiter (probably owner) loudly knock on the window and almost flip us off thinking we were just parking there to go somewhere else, I pointed inside and motioned food to my mouth, I think he felt dumb after realizing we were trying to find the entrance. This immediately soured my first impression. We ordered off the all you can eat menu which made sense at $18 per person and allowed us to order unlimited off the menu items. The sushi was decent and the environment was well spaced with a lot of seating. I didn’t really have any unique or profound moments on this lunch which keeps the scare as neutral. I’d try another location to see consistency. That waiter though … terrible.
Sushi rolls are not good at all. Sashimi looks like not fresh, especially tuna. Very disappointed….service was ok, for the same price range, we can get better sushi somewhere else.
