I love this joint! Their Chicken Alla Parmigiana is my go-to. Delicious sauce and bread. Very filling too! Just wish they were open later so I’d have more opportunities to drop by after work.
I love sandwiches and Peppino’s on Kensington did a fabulous job. Their service is very fast and they put a lot into the sandwiches. I ordered the De Nico which had a variety of meat in it with a great sauce which I think was some sort of mustard. I liked the meatballs in the sandwich and how the sandwich was not too saucy, which a lot of sandwich places have a tendency of doing and ruining my bread.
Best sandwich shop in Calgary by FAR. Very wide selection, made to order with quality ingredients and fresh baguettes. Lots of delicious sides like pasta salads. We always shop for the sauces and pastas too.
These are the best subs in the city that I have had. They have a really good variety and the ingredients are really fresh. Awesome spot for lunch if you are in the area
Took the family in today after reading great reviews and was very disappointed. Ordered 3 sandwiches meatball, meatloaf and Montreal smoked meat. Meatloaf was microwaved and a super thin piece meatball was soooo spicy couldn’t taste anything. Montreal was the one I had to eat and share with my son.Bread DELICIOUS was unhappy watching rhe staff eat behind the counter without washing hands. Line of people so it’s for lots of people just not us. I love food and seriously never complain but I was disappointed sorry if it offends anyone.

I wanted to try their sandwich. I do not remember which menu I tried, I tried one with ham and cheese, my friend tried salami one. They are both good and pretty filling!!I found the bread very dry. Other than that, the meat was really good, veggies were decent amount. I had cappuccino and it was delicious as well!For service, they are very helpful and friendly. The food served pretty quick as well. I could not finish the sandwich and I was trying to wrap it up with the napkin which served on the plate. They noticed that I wanted to take it home and wrapped it up nicely for me. It was very nice and caring. Also, we bought their ravioli, tomato sauce, cannoli, gelato. They are all pretty good. Cannoli was ok, it was frozen one, of course it cannot beat fresh ones. I loved their tomato sauce so much! There are many different types, we picked mushroom one. It was absolutely delicious! Lobster ravioli we bought was also tasty! Their frozen packaged food is really nice quality. I also bought some stuff from the little market space they have. Those are all good and again, stuff was very helpful when I was looking for a specific thing. Overall, I love this place, especially their frozen tomato sauce is big hit for me! I’d definitely recommend to come!
Yummy sandwiches! Love the Vesuvius, but watch out it can be spicy! Saturday fresh Italian loaves of bread are soooo good! Love the cozy cafe atmosphere overall!
