Food is very processed. We ordered some appetizers and I’m pretty sure not a single one was made fresh that day. Servers were polite and fast with our drinks
Awesome pub. They serve generous sized beer at a good price, have pool tables, and also lots of TVs. Great spot to watch the game or the fights. Good patio too.
Slowest service ever. The last 3 times we have been here there have been probably 10 people in the whole place and it takes an hour to get our food or the server disappears for 30 monsters after bringing the bill. Do not come here if you have less than 3 hours. Food is mediocre at best and not worth the hassle.
Nestled in the heart of Kensigton this venue owns the name Side Street based on their location. From outside it looks like just another one of those bar/restaurants. Once you enter you see ample high top seating as well as booths, TVs everywhere, Vlts,pool tables and greeted by the bartender with a smile. You will not be bored here to say the least. Not only is the atmosphere very welcoming but so is the delicious food. You have to try the pizza and also the beer battered fries with their own house gravy blend. 10/10 here. I came in off the street, drawn by the TVs and reassured by the size of the crowd that it was a decent joint. Got myself a half-price quesadilla (Friday special) and two orders of the house draft. Beer was a nice lager, not some trendy ass hoppy shit, and the quesadilla was outstanding! The salsa on the side, I could have bathed in. It was made in house of all fresh ingredients. How do I know? The guy who made it – Joe – sat down next to me at the bar and we shot the shit. Also talked to the bartender Mike. And some guy named Rob. Very friendly and delicious experience on my first night in Calgary. I’ll be back for wings!
Awesome all around. This place is hands down my favourite place to go. The food is amazing the staff is great Dj makes the dance floor busy I go here atleast one or twice a week… Great place to check it out….. Your truly sunshine 🙂
Nice pub. Great new edition to the Kensington area.. Owner is very nice and the food and atmosphere is good.. nice place to spend the night with friends close to home..
