I am a pho lover! I love the special combo pho in this restaurant, but it varies a little bit from visit to visit. Sometimes really good, sometimes just good. You may find its a bit pricy comparing with other pho places but they put a lot of beef! My husband had a sandwich with beef and chicken the other day and he liked it quite a lot.
Went for lunch. The food was ordinary but still decent. The place was not clean…greasy prints and splashes on the walls and door. Needs a really good cleaning. Felt rushed by staff even tho it wasn’t full. Won’t go again.
Acceptable food. Loaded with MSG. Service is dicey. Triple check your order or they’ll blame you for ordering wrong if the wrong food item comes out. I ordered by food name and they wrote down the wrong food number once and came out insisting I ordered ph bo when I adamantly said ph g by name, not the food number. Make sure you don’t have an important function too soon after unless you feel like falling asleep from all the MSG loaded into their soups.
The soup here is the best vietnamese ive had, spicy and incredibly flavourful. The vermicelli bowls are also very good. They have a very delicious and flavourful stew as well; the broth tastes like a sweet potato and veggie mix with very tender beef.
He best com no luc lac in the city. Tender and juice brought out steaming hot perfect for lunch, order a soup in the side to quench your thirst a bit.
The pho was alright. Meat was super thin and overcooked. Tripe was brutal – tough and old! Noodles alright and broth was good. For $12 it’s not a big portion. Most places the pho is $8-$9 and it’s a massive portion. Don’t need to go back here the value isn’t there. Service was mediocre.
Food is great, they only have one size but big portions prices are decent. Service is OK. Will be back for the Vietnamese stew!
