Rated 4.5 b/c Christy’s puts out good food consistently. No it’s not fine dining by any means but if you want a hearty meal for a good price, then Christy’s is a great option. My go to’s are the mesquite chicken and honey chicken.

Cristy’s is a place that I always see at market mall, but just never have the urge to try because it just does not seem as appealing compared to its competition. Still, I’ve always been curious about Cristy’s since it’s been around for a while and I love me some rotisserie chicken. While I’ll admit I hadn’t given this place much attention, I suddenly realized that Cristy’s was a essentially a westernized Chinese restaurant (only with more western options) upon walking into the store. This meant Chinese options such as wonton soup, fried rice, and ginger beef, in addition to rotisserie chicken and sandwiches. I personally thought that this resulted in a bit of a weird mix (identity crisis), but I think Cristy’s somehow manages to pull it together so that I’m like ‘Okay, I guess this could work’. I had initially imagined ordering some rotisserie chicken because that’s in the name, but the ‘specialties’ caught my eye so I grabbed the 2 meat & 1 side combo for $9.29. The Honey Chicken was marinated in a lightly sweetened sauce and the chicken itself was actually juicier than I had expected it to be. The Salt & Pepper Chicken is lightly seasoned and breaded, and then tossed with onion and peppers, giving it a nice little kick (in addition to the salt). My side of seasoned potatoes were soft and flavourful. Despite this location being its own restaurant rather than in a food court, it still feels like the same thing because you order at the counter and pay first. Overall, the food at Cristy’s wasn’t bad. But upon closer inspection, it’s exactly what you expect a westernized Chinese food court restaurant to be: fast, not bad food on a budget. Just don’t have the expectations that I did going into it without realizing this and you’ll be fine. wetastefood.com

We love this place. I feel that rotisserie chicken is much the same any place you go so my wife & I go to Cristy’s for everything else. The mesquite chicken is always delicious. I most prefer the salt & pepper chicken. It far exceeds the flavour of most chicken dishes I’ve had. My wife loves the dill potatoes. They are always cooked well through (fully cooked potatoes are strangely hard to find in this city as most restaurants here have no idea about potato preparation or their cooks are just lazy & don’t care). Even the fries here are tasty. We love the added touch of the mini cornmeal muffins. I thought my mother was the only one who makes them. The vegetable side is nice as well. For just over $10, you can get a combo with 3 different chicken choices & a side item. Their portions are reasonable in size. We are very fussy eaters but here, we like most everything on the menu. We will always come back!

One of my fav’s in calgary. If you’re looking for a chicken place in calgary this is the one. They have the perfact chicken and very friendly service. Been coming here for 12 years now. The rice and vegtables and the dill potatoes are the BEST also. If you are in the northeast don’t hesitate to stop by this little gem.

This establishment is one of the most ridicules places I have EVER gone to for one you have false advertising on your website, also you REALLY NEED TO BE MORE PREPARED.Absolutely Ridiculous I can’t even wrap my head around how bad this establishment is. In my opinion I don’t suggest this place and I personally will NEVER eat here again

They have gone downhill. Food just got worse after renovation..no matter what you order its mushy and gross, I have thrown out food..and my colleagues have the same opinion…I used to love this place …wonder what happened..and their customer serve is not bad..:S

Meh… Chicken was good. The place was empty sans an employee eating in the corner. Ordered a 1/4 chicken with corn and coleslaw.Coleslaw was a bit runny and not much flavor and the corn was well just corn but the chicken was actually pretty flavorful and cooked just right.Probably won’t be back here unless I was in a real rush and I can see why most of them are in food courts.
