I love this place. They have great wings nights twice a week and also do cool things like have Show & Shines for cars a few times a year. They have renovated since I was first there and the vibe is a lot cleaner and up-to-date. They now have a front wall on the building that can roll up and you are basically on a quasi-patio. I love it. Great times 🙂
Love this place for the evapi. The service is always fantastic and the food is great. A wonderful neighborhood pub that I wish there was more of in Calgary.
If you are tired of being waited on in a timely fashion and do not want tasty wings on wing night Captain’s is the place to be! ! Food was awful and the service was worse. The waitress was busy talking to the other kitchen staff and bartender most of the time. Staff did not make me feel welcome at all. Should be called ‘chicken bone night’ . Whatever you do please do not order more than the 10 wings per drink allowed !!! They did not take kindly to that, they gave my bones and i think they put something in my drink! !! I would no recommend this place to anybody. Black bull pub is better and in the same area
Dive bar at its finest I went here a couple weeks ago for super cheap Wednesday wing night. Wings are $.22 each, with a minimum order of 10 wings and one alcoholic beverage. Not a great idea ‘making’ people order an alcoholic beverage if they don’t drink or are the DD. The wings are decent. The suicide wings are amazing with a made-in-house sauce but the dry spiced wings were awful. They have a decent amount of tvs with sports on…but that’s about it for decor. Again, ambiance is total dive and the servers are rude!
Worst ever.. She charged me 10.75 for one bottle of heinikin,wings 10 per drink, server was too busy talking to coworkers to return to take my order for 1/2 hour. I paid my tab, went to the black bull, same parking lot, where there is no wing limit and the girls do their job.
Honey/Garlic Wings,Chili Wings and Pepper wings. Great. Thoroughly enjoyed the Honey/garlic wings and my girlfriend enjoyed the chili and pepper wings. Service was very good, and it was really busy in there. Enjoyed the company and the atmosphere. Will be back. Thanks againJosie
I’ve been coming to this place since it opened. A few staff changes and it’s still a great place to have a good time with friends. Lots of tvs. New menu and it’s great. Although the old menu was good to. The owner still works the bar. Always feel welcome when I come in. Keep up the good work.
