Highly recommend for lunch. Great price, large portions, and food tastes super fresh. For $11.50 I got green tea, a wonton soup to start, the lunch special with choice of 2 dishes and rice or noodles. I was starving and couldn’t even finish so it was dinner as well!
Stopped in to try their lunch special. Expected to get food from a buffet for the $8.95 ginger beef and steamed rice but I was pleasantly surprised. My food was made fresh to order and was out to me in good time. It was a generous portion and I ended up having 1/2 for lunch and 1/2 for dinner. The ginger beef was crispy with the perfect amount of sauce. Mmm mmm. I’ll definitely be checking out the rest of the menu next time we want to get Chinese for dinner!
Went again on May 13th. Best ginger chicken ever! I have never had a bad meal. It is very busy for a small location so either plan to wait or go at off peak hours!!!
I was invited by a friend who was very high on this place, its an old worn restaurant in an old worn strip mall in Huntington, its been there for years , its the basic Canadian Chinese western style food, dont look for authentic here, the food was on the bland side, certainly not my normal style of food, but as a guest I just ate and enjoyed the company, the owner of the place was exceptionally customer focused and he greeted everyone who came in the door, he was by our table many times and ensuring we were happy, my friend goes there a lot and the owner knew him and he seemed to genuinely care if we were happy or not, the service was very good, and while I may not race to go back for the food, the service is worthy of a second visit.
This is my every-day rainy day western Chinese food restaurant. It’s not downtown dimsum… it’s not trendy hk bistro… it’s the place I can bring any or all of my family for a delicious enjoyable relaxing meal.No buffet – all familiar dishes are cooked direct to order and fresh. I respect that, and vegetables are always tender-crisp! My family has been coming here for several years and hope to enjoy many more!
Took my Dad here for his birthday. Excellent food, decent prices, friendly staff. It’s kinda plain, in a strip mall, so if you are looking for a casual night out it is perfect.
Meh. It’s quite bland. Not authentic at all. My hot and sour soup was neither hot nor sour! The most bland version I have ever tasted actually. Dumplings are fine. Sweet and sour pork is just food court quality without the pineapples. At least they have a Chinese broccoli and beef option. The restaurant itself is small town Chinese/Western style. So get take out. I do know that there are so many better quality options for Chinese cuisine out there though.
