We ordered take out and are extremely disappointed. The food was stale and seemed pre-made using cheap ingredients. Vegetables in some of the dishes tasted like they came out of a freezer bag. The ginger chicken, salt and pepper seafood, and sweet and sour chicken were mostly dough. The chefs special chow mein was noodles and bean sprouts with only a couple pieces of chicken and 1 shrimp. We called back to let them know our disappointment but they only offered a coupon which is an obvious waste. Very poor value as you pay higher prices for cheap food.
This is the best Chinese take out I have had! Just look at the pics and you can see the quality along with the impressive presentation. Beef and broccoli are amazing. Salt and pepper squid are amazing. BBQ pork chow mein is excellent. We also ordered the sweet and sour pineapple chicken which was just average. lol This is my new go to Chinese take out!!
I’ve previously ordered from here, and I must say the food was great until today’s outing where I ordered take out and come home to find a women’s LONG strand of hair hiding underneath my sweet and sour pork. I was very outraged, but to express disgust to a family business of unsanitary procedure would go unnoticed, I have worked in the food industry, specifically making pizza, and was taught to feed food the way you would feed your families. I would advise all to decide to take your business elsewhere, as I have encountered many wonderful places to eat in the city. I’ve always been an advocate to excel small businesses, but if they’ve failed to display that in a professional manner, then they have failed to deliver excellence. Sorry, but it was good knowing you.
YUCK!!!!!!!. We ordered 5 dishes at 6:30PM on Monday, May 11. Not a single dish was edible. All tasted as though they were reheated leftovers from the day before. We have been customers for over 5 years but will never return because it was a waste of $60 bucks. I have thrown out all the menus. Avoid this place. Go to Shanghai on Centre street instead.16 May, 2015Usually good but not so lately. We ordered 5 dishes at 6:30PM on Monday, May 11. Not a single dish was edible. Didn’t like it. Service is ok lemon chicken is good but I ordered deep fried won tons and there was nothing in them just the deep fried flaky stuff I also ordered spare ribs and there was many fat chunks like big chunks and also the ginger beef I couldn’t even chew.. Do they even use beef?? Not happy.
The service is reasonable, but the food tastes very bad. Fried rice is oily, plain, very little meat and just taste aweful. This restaurant is only good for the hours of operation and location.
Ent to fai’s she was really nice and all but when I told her I had an allergy she told me they would cook it in another oil, once the food was ready and we had paid it all changed and I wasn’t able to eat half the food we ordered. I was quite upset I would have chosen other items if I had been told I wouldn’t be able to eat half of it.
