On a road trip to visit family and they assured us that Astros had some top quality food. We ordered delivery and received quick and friendly service. We ordered 3 pizzas, 3 spaghetti and meatballs, calamari, 2 salads and a souvlaki dinner. We have to say this restaurant is top notch. Wishing they were in Calgary!
Old Favorite. This place has been around forever, and has always had consistent, down to earth food. The decor is old but don’t let it fool you. This family run place that has been around forever is always clean and friendly.Try the lasagna, it’s extremely addictive. Everyone I’ve brought always comes back for it.
Have been to astros for over 30 years lunch once a week so I know the menu and staff well one of the best pizzas in town, Zambellis next best. Staff family run, extremely friendly, the make the best veal cutlets very reasonably priced
Disappointing. I had the New York strip. They overcooked my steak it was dry and hardly seasoned. I had the New York clam chowder to start which just tasted like salt. The garlic toast comes wrapped in tin foil. It also came with baked potato which was over cooked and came with sour cream, chives and FAKEN BITS?! Really? The presentation was laughable and sloppy and it was way over priced for the quality I received. I really wanted to like this place and judging by other reviews it is generally liked. Perhaps they had an off night. I don’t like giving this negative a review to a family run business but it was really a poor experience
Good. The decor was old, the menu dated, The service great and the food was very good. I had the pork chops all it said on the menu was I got apple sauce and my choice of side (I got he baked potato). when it came out the pork chops kinda looked dried out and thin. however they very still moist and full of flavor, and also got a large serving of Coleslaw which was awesome it was not weighed down by too much mayo and had a light acidic and sweet taste to it. SO in the end had a very pleasant experience
One of the best family restaurants in town. Staff are very friendly, make you feel like you were at home. One of our favorite places to relax and enjoy a great meal. Their lasagna and meatballs are the best, bar none.
Two thumbs up for this restaurant! The service was friendly and fast, the food was awesome! My steak was over an inch thick and done to perfection! Great food & great prices! I will be back to try the pizza very soon.
