I don’t want to scare off people, but I had the biggest and most horrible stomach malfunction after I ate here. I don’t think it was because the chicken or meat I had was raw, but simply because it was deep fried at a lower than optimal temperature (greasy) and it was heavily re-used oil or just darkened oil. I liked the menu and the staff and all, but boy oh boy I have never had such a bad stomach sickness eating fried anything. I’d have to wait a while before I come back. Aside from that, I think it’s very cool that we are getting yet another Korean fried chicken place in Edmonton, but this time fusion style with Japanese tonkatsu’s. There’s not much to choose from in the west side and this place sticks out like an oasis in a dessert but with a toilet. Hahahah. You should try this place and let me know how your stomach handled it.
This place is on my top fried chicken restaurant in Edmonton. Chicken is crispy outside and soft inside. Good quality of food.I will be coming back for more!
This place is great. Nothing like it in Edmonton so it basically has no competition. Tonkatsu is crispy in the outside, moist on the inside. The soy garlic chicken is not overly sweet and the regular fried chicken is not salty at all.
I visit new restaurant which openin the west end.I had a dinner on Saturday with friend. We had a fried chicken, curry tonkatsu, udon and dumpling. Every dish was so delicious. The friend chicken is crispy in the outside, moist on the inside. And dumpling is very tasty. This place feel warm and welcome. I will come again soon.
Very good tonkatsu, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The sauce is homemade and compliments the dish very well, and you get a choice of whether or not you add a side dish of curry as well, which is great.Service is wonderful, the server lady was very attentive and made sure that I was happy with my meal!
Came here on a saturday and was very quiet. There are no side dishes provided. I got the bulgolgi noodles which seemed kinda plain as it was just japchae noodles and bulgolgi… and the pizza tonkatsu which was very greasy with the cheese. Overall it wasn’t very memorable.. but i’ll try to come back and try the chicken lotsofloving.wordpress.com
