Ordered through Skip the Dishes. We had eaten at this very empty location a couple years ago and I would’ve rated the food a 3.5-4/5 then; sadly this time around we found the food has really declined in quality. Had the Chicken Souvlaki, Falafel platter, and a shrimp skewer with a garlic and tzatziki dip, I clearly had forgotten how much better the food at Opa is. The falafel is the worst I have ever had – it felt like I was eating sand and I typically love falafel but there was literally no crisp or spice to it. The shrimp was very very overcooked and dry – I couldn’t eat it :(. The pita was what you’d buy at Safeway and had not been warmed on the grill as it was on our last visit. The sauces were both thin and mostly flavourless – at the very least give us a delicious tzatziki!!!

We are Told that they don’t have any humus because they threw it out as it was spoiled. They deliver calamari to our table outside which is right next to the coffee shop next doors drive threw order window. Makes for a crummy view and loud dinner listening to people yell out coffee orders. Calamari is very over cooked, crunchy and breaking when pushing the fork in. Also served with plain yogurt. Staff then brings us a plate of humus and says I just made it for you, no charge. Humus has no garlic flavor and has a gritty consistency. Maybe a mix?? Not an enjoyable visit.

This is a family friendly resteraunt with an excellent menu and extremely tasty food. If you like healthy fresh food at a great price then this is the place to go.
New items on menu!. Along with the exceptional service and great food, new items have been added to the menu including the Spartan burger! I tried this today on my break and was not disappointed ! (Not that I ever am at Sparta) it was a unique taste you wouldn’t find at just any other food place and is definitely worth a try!
Great food and try their new sparta burger!. I visit this place regularly and have to say the food is really really good. The lady (also the owner) is extremely nice and makes things herself. The food is fresh which is a huge differentiator for me. I just tried the new sparta burger and have to say I was VERY impressed. I’d recommend you give that burger a try..something new and unique but really tasty. Overall, I recommend this place.
Dude. Un doubtedly the best down to earth yet professional service you can find anywhere. Full marks on the food. Just try it. Please don’t wait another day. get some greek sparta inya.
