Average Tokyo Express location. The bowl was good but the bottom of the bowl was full of water from the sprouts. But it was a large amount though or else it wouldn’t have bothered me. Service was super fast. Got my bowl in 2 mins.Sal say: Just Try it (2.5/5)
Don’t eat here! Food is not fresh. This location is clean and bright but the food is very disappointing. Had the teriyaki chicken and it was overcooked and dry and the vegetables were not very fresh. There was too much sauce on the rice which made the dish quite unappealing. My friend had the beef bento box with tempura and the beef was dry and overcooked. I won’t be back to this location again. Best Tokyo Express is at Oliver Square. It is consistently good. Also told them we were eating in and they packed our food in take out boxes.

I really like Tokyo Express… But this location is awful. The food quality is poor and the staff are never friendly.
I love Tokyo express but that location is Horrible . The Plates Stunk. The Chicken was more like dog food chicken. I would never go there again.
Improving. My friend and I, who have been eating Japanese food together for thirty years, decided to give it a try since The Mikado is closed for lunch on Sundays. It certainly isnt the first time we’ve been there, but surprise! The food was delicious! ( I had their tempura and fish bento box, my friend ordered the dumplings and dragon rolls.) And, you cant beat that price. The atmosphere has always had a ‘factory’ feel to it, but then, we didnt go there for the ambience.Fast, inexpensive, and good tasting. They even brought our trays to our table.Recommended.
For a quick food/fast food sushi restaurant, the food is surprisingly good. I’m vegetarian, so I can only speak to a small portion of the menu. The vegetarian sushi combo, miso soup, and yam tempura are all great items. Recommend trying them, not a disappointment
